Fantastic listening, finally a book that actually I found this audio book to be one of the best books i have heard. That said, all are entitled to their own opinion. It was refreshing to actually hear the real stories behind the man. Sed aliquam, urna ut sollicitudin molestie, lacus justo aliquam mauris, interdum aliquam sapien nisi cursus mauris. Walter Isaacson has written an honest and thought provoking biography of Steve Jobs.

His story is explanatory and also cautionary, filled with lessons regarding technology, character, management, and values. Glad I Did After many, many, recommendations, I gave in.

There is no doubt that Walter Isaacson has truly got a very detailed behind the scene account of some of the dealings not only with Jobs, but with Apple, Pixar, Next, Mac plus much more. Just a loooong newspaper story Walter Isaacson commits the Cardinal literary sin of telling us what Seve Jobs did with his life rather than showing us what he did.

If you are copying these guys, you aren't learning from them. Processing Please Don't Refresh the Page. An amazing account, well told and well worth a listen. These treatments did not aid.

Although Jobs cooperated with the author, he asked for no control over what was written. This is one of the few books which would be much enjoyable listening than reading. There is much to discover in this books and for that I would read it again. Steve created his own rule book for that as well.

It is entertaining and really makes you think. Nevertheless, Jobs did not stay still for long.

But in his own mind, he was just as much a man of science and engineering. He really want to make Steve jobs into a complete dickhead.

Very well wtitten biography. If the only source you have for these stories is Isaacson's book you will have a distorted, and sometimes false, impression of what happened. Although a relatively long audio book, this is a fascinating story and easy to listen to. Why did some succeed and others fail? This is a gripping Bio and well worth the hours of time to listen to.

Dylan Baker's narration is excellent. Nunc hendrerit tortor vitae est placerat ut varius erat posuere.

The very early s was a successful time for Apple as well as Jobs. As he did not intend to have an operation, Jobs tried to heal it making use of alternative medicines that he learned from his time in India.

This was the most memorable moment as I too was born in India, understand the sights and smell he must of seen, and my parents and to some exstent also my self believe in buda. In short read and enjoy, but don't use it as some sort of study bible.

The impending tragedy of his early death in some way contributed to some of his greatest achievements. It made me realise why as I've grown and matured have gravitated to Apple products. The most amazing part is that it actually happened. Jobs at some point dropped out of Reed college, however dropped in on classes that interested him.

This is a great book about a true visionary in our own time. It is destined to be the standard history of the digital revolution and an indispensable guide to how innovation really happens. So much to admire, but such a flawed character. In the end, I think he means to say that it doesn't matter if you were for or against Steve Jobs, the man. The author pulls no punches when it comes to jobs reputation.
